Our mission is to add longevity into your life through functional movement. Tonic Method is a workout that benefits you now and also years from now, by building lean muscle, enhancing balance and flexibility, and utilizing effective range of motion with low impact, full-body exercises. We combine High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with the low impact strength training of Pilates. Movements are done with continuous tension at a slow, controlled pace with short bursts of cardio to keep you in your fat-burning zone to build long, lean muscle. Tonic Method was born out of the desire to support longevity in your life and to have a complete workout that compliments your favorite outdoor activities from skiing and hiking to golf and tennis.
Madeleine was born and raised in Aspen, Colorado and is a Certified Pilates Instructor. Her love for health and wellness is something she is passionate about sharing. She discovered Pilates in 2007, and fell in love with how it strengthens, lengthens, and tones your entire body while still being low impact. In 2009, she became a Certified Instructor, eager to share this incredible form of fitness with others…the only thing that was missing was the high intensity that she loved about her other workouts like HIIT and TRX. She developed Tonic Method to combine Pilates, strength training, High Intensity Interval Training, and mindful movement into one incredible workout.
When she isn’t making your muscles burn in class or further developing Tonic Method, you will find her hiking, biking, skiing, or cooking healthy food. As an avid athlete her entire life, she became fascinated with health at an early age. After graduating from the University of Denver, she pursued a holistic approach to wellness and became certified in Pilates, Massage Therapy, and Nutritional Consulting. Her core values of health, balance, and strength are the inspiration behind Tonic Method and she is excited to share them with you.

My Go-To Smoothie: 2 cups frozen greens + 1 frozen banana (sliced) + 2 tablespoons peanut butter + 1 tablespoon hemp seeds + 1 scoop protein powder + 1-1 ½ cups Coconut Water + Adaptogens and/or Collagen
